Lejewpord

From around 1994 until 2000 I drew the northern part of Lejewpord (with many breaks of a few months). It was drawn is a “city atlas”. The original scale is 1:20,000 and 42 pages in A4 format have been drawn, with 25 square kilometers each, so the finished part is 1,050 square kilometers.

Lejewpord is located at the coast of an imaginary ocean, which is the natural border in the south-east of the city. In Lejewpord, a large river flows into the ocean. Only a small part of the city has been finished: the borough of Djaglejd and parts of Zamcod and Lindoep.

What else? The country and the language are fictional as well. And not to forget: the left-hand traffic.
