Urban Geofiction

Bringing fictional cities to life can happen in many different ways. So far, the focus in this collection has been the graphical depiction of imaginary cities – such as maps, bird’s eye views, isometric projections, and so on. But with the “Urban Legends” section, a new way of presenting such cities enters the collection: describing the setting with literary tools – or simply: with words – such as short stories, newspaper articles, diary entries, encyclopedia texts in which, in many different creative ways, the fictional urban territory is described.
